This Intel made/version of the X520-DA2 is way more compatible(These use the genuine Intel boot code while the Dell X520's use a modified firmware version more tuned to just their Poweredge Servers and their lifecycle controller) than the cheaper Dell versions of the X520!
Some servers(especially SuperMicro /Synology / Lenovo / HP)do not like the Dell X520-DA2 where this real Intel made version does work great in them. These better Intel's work perfectly fine in Dell also btw. The real Intel82599 /82599ES chipsetalso tends to be more supported and trouble free than the Intel X710-DA2 + in many applications.
