LOOK! Vintage IBM 5150 PC Personal Computer Dual 5.25 Floppy Drives NR!
Up for your consideration is a very nice vintage IBM 5150 PC. I rescued this from the scrap metal yard a long time ago, and had fully intended to set it up as a retro machine. However, I just don't have the time or space to mess with it anytime soon. Since I am cleaning out much of my unneeded items from around the house, I have decided to sell this to someone that can get some enjoyment out of it.With this sale, you are getting the IBM model 5150 personal computer and power cord only. I have no way of testing this because I do not own the correct monitor. Therefore it is sold as-is. The computer turns on and I hear no beeps or strange noises. The power supply fan is still very quiet for the age, and the rest of the machine is in very nice condition. I did take the time to clean it up and remove all of the dust and dirt from the in and outside the case. I also took the time to clean the floppy drive heads and greased the drive rails too. Now it just needs a monitor, keyboard, and you!Because of the size and weight, I did not intend to ship it out. I am in the Flint, MI 48507 area if you would like to pick it up locally. I'm not 100% opposed to shipping it, but keep in mind that it is very heavy and large and shipping will be very pricey. I'll leave it up to the winning buyer to decide how they would like to get it. Shipping charges represent the actual cost of shipping and materials only. I do not charge any handling or packaging fees.
Shipping insurance is required on some sales. Insurance will automatically be included in the final shipping costs for those items that sell for greater than $150 US.
