The modem supports the IPv6 protocol and is capable of providing IPv6 connectivity to the Internet. The modem uses the Intel Puma 6 chipset and supports 1 Gigabit Ethernet 1000Mbps connection to the router. This modem is on the Xfinity Device List and is compatible with multiple service tiers from Xfinity.The modem was pulled from a working cable service and replaced with a faster modem that supports a higher overall speed; it is surplus to requirements. There are several signs of wear and tear on the plastic case of the modem, including very minor scratches and scuff marks. The modem will be thoroughly wiped down prior to shipment, and will be otherwise sold as seen in the listing. It will be carefully packaged for shipment to minimize the risk of damage in transit.
