Recapped Macintosh LC 575 logic board. Tested and working. You will receive exactly what’s shown in the photos (plus 512kb of VRAM, not pictured).
Tested on a Color Classic (with a software mod.) The 33 MHz ‘040 makes a dramatic difference in performance compared to the CC’s stock (16 MHz 68030) configuration.
Electrolytic caps are replaced with tantalum equivalents at a higher voltage rating (to add headroom to account for differences in capacitor derating). The work has been performed to a high standard in an ESD-safe workspace.
Please note: this board required a little more capacitor cleanup than usual. Several jumper wires were installed to remedy trace damage. I kept the repairs as visually small as possible, and they are protected with a dab of clear conformal coating. See photos.
Please note: while this board is suitable for a Mystic Mod conversion (Color Classic with a 575 logic board installed), the board has not had the Mystic Mac “resistor mod” performed. If you intend to run this board in a Color Classic you’ll need (at least) a small software mod for your Mystic project to boot.
