The APC AP8858 Rack PDU 20-Way Vertical Rackmount PDU provides active metering to enable energy optimisation and circuit protection. User-defined alarm thresholds mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts to warn of potential circuit overloads. This PDU provides power utilisation data to allow Data Centre Managers to make informed decisions on load balancing and the size of IT environments to lower total cost of ownership. The APP8858 includes real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, locking IEC receptacles, and ultra low profile circuit breakers. Users can access and configure the PDU through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces which are complemented by APC Centralised Management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency.
