Original 1982 IBM Model F 61 key “Kishsaver” PART# 6019284 SCARCE MUSEUM HISTORY
Price: US $192418.96

Hello, hopefully this finds the right person. My wife and I found out that are family is going to be growing here soon. If you can send this listing to any IBM executives that want to make a contribution please forward this to them. The price is reflective of IBM’s key dates 1924 and 1896. One thing to note is my grandfather was a leading student of Frank Lloyd Wright and worked as an architect on the 1952 IBM Headquarters building in Los Angeles. His work was on many architectural drawings for so many of the projects produced by the Pereira Architecture Firm. Hoping for a miracle! Praying that this somehow makes its way to someone at IBM.

This is an original 1982 IBM Model F 61 key, also known as the "Kishsaver". It is a rare and valuable museum piece for vintage computing enthusiasts. The keyboard is made of high-quality materials and has a unique design that is distinct from modern keyboards.

The keyboard was checked inside and photos have been documented (see the gallery.) The connection is very old and so it has not been tested but the inside looks very nice and quite clean. We did notice that the space bar will need balanced as it currently works by clicking near the center. Otherwise the cable, port connection, circuit board and other components appear to be in excellent condition. All of the keys felt very good when clicked.

Due to the age of the item this should be considered a relic and therefore we are selling it to collectors as a display piece so although it may work just fine we aren’t guaranteeing it and are therefore selling it in the form of parts categorization.

This extremely scarce IBM keyboard is perfect for museum collectors or anyone who appreciates computing history and technology. This keyboard is an incredible addition to any museum or high-end computing history collection and it would make a fantastic display piece. Don't miss out on this very rare opportunity to own a very rare and special piece of computing history.
