Don't make the mistake of using ammonia (Windex) or alcohol-based liquids on your printhead. Alcohol is a drying agent and will only create a bigger problem as youinitiallytry to clean the printhead, the harder older deposits are hardened as the loose surface particles are swept away causing the problem to get worse. If you have soft rubber lines that run from the cartridges to the printhead you will cause the rubber lines to become stiff and brittle.
Ammonia will cause a breakdown of the printhead electronic components leading to printhead failure.

Print Head Clog Busteris designed to work with dyes, pigments, high resinous pigments, IE. Epson Ultrachrome, food grade caketop publishing inks and sublimation inks. This is not a cheap import but manufactured by the same company that Epson purchases their cleaner from here in the USA.
It can be used in a host of different ways. Apply to the printers capping (docking) station until moistened without flooding the station and return the head back to the capping station and let it sit 24 hours. It can also be injected into an ink cartridge and doing 1 – 2 cleaning cycles a per 24 hour time period recover dirty nozzles.
Adding 5% to 10%Print Head Clog Busterto your ink will make aphenomenaldifferenceto overcoming nozzles that chronically plug. There will be nonoticeabledifference in the outcome ofyourphotograph if you add 5%. For normal day to day printing black and white documents you can add up to 20% Nitro Cleaner. The only ink that you cannot dilute is sublimation ink.
Print Head Clog Buster works with all Epson, Canon, HP, Lexmark, Kodak, Brother, and Dell water based ink printers. It will not work with Solvent based inks used in the garment industry.
