So,what is this?This is the heart of a Tandy TRS-80 Model 16Computer. The Motorola 68000 CPU on this board runs at 6MHz and in the"Tandy TRS-80 environment" can access a maximum of 1 Meg ofRAM. It is commonly referred to as the 68000 or 68k board. Itoperates in 16-bit mode.

TRS-80 Model 16

TRS-80 Model 12

TRS-80 Model 16B

STATIC -As always, when handling "any" vintage computer components, it iswise NOT to be wearing leather sole shoes. In fact, bare-foot is best.Also, no "static-y" clothing such as sweaters, nylon material, etcshould be worn. You may want to touch something that is grounded (like a waterfaucet) before picking up vintage computer components. These are justsuggestions.
