This is an HP Pavilion xl848 retro desktop computer! It's powered by an AMD Duron processor that runs at 750MHz. (We think that the front panel is from a different computer, but we're not positive. All we know is it does NOT have the Athlon listed on the spec card, and the GPU is a different model too). This machine has 256MB of RAM, and a 120GB Hard Drive. It runs Windows 98 Second Edition. Graphics are handled by an nVidia GeForce4 MX440 AGP card. Our technicians have installed all the drivers and Windows 98 updates, including the USB flash drive driver. These are ready to go out of the box for retro work or play! If you're looking for a retro, period correct Windows 98 desktop, it doesn't get any better than this! This machine is perfect for work or play- it has USB ports on the front and back, a parallel port, a CD burner, joystick port, and a Serial RS-232 port. For the money, you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer system- this is a fast, desireable case style, and it presents itself nicely for the age.
Please review the photographs for cosmetic details. These are pretty nice looking computers for the age, but all older computers have some scuffs and scrapes. These were used in a corporate environment, so they were moved around. Expect some minor dings, scuffs, and scrapes, as to be expected with used computers. These are used retro computers after all, but they're not bad looking machines.
Please note that this computer runs Windows 98, an operating system that has been out of support for around two decades. We strongly recommend that you do not attempt to use this computer on the internet. We sell plenty of modern computers, but this isn't one of them. This is perfect for retro gaming, industrial uses, or many other applications that require legacy software.
