This is a Donor Drive for Data Recovery Purposes. The drive has been tested and wiped DOD secure erased Pass 3 successfully. We do not recommend you buy this drive to operate your system just use it for parts to get a like drive working to recover data with specific data recovery tools like a PC3000 or DeepSpar Disk Imager(s). The drive in the photo is the drive you will be getting. Please ask any questions before you buy. If you need to know the heads map or pre-amp type please send an internal message and ask for item number 3548 in your message. We do not have a return policy, but if unopened, we will give a credit for future orders as long as the drive passes our testing standards upon receipt of the returned drive.
It has been tested on both platforms and read 200/200 in DDI /ud diagnostics utility and FW was repaired. Head stack operation read/write functionality is operating normal - all heads tested and passed - preamp on head stack is functional, PCB is functional.
