I am selling this Sinclair ZX81 vintage home computer from 1981. This item is in a very good condition and comes with the following:- The computer itself
- Original box (sleeve + inner box). The sleeve shows some age (see the photos)- Original book
- Original guarantee certificate
- Original power supply, UK plug
- Two original cables (TV antenna, ear/mic)
The computer was tested to the following extent:
- It was connected to a modern 9V power supply.
- It was connected to a modern LCD TV (with antenna input) - the ZX81 picture was found with "auto scan".
- All keys on the keyboard were tested by pressing them one by one. The keyboard seems to be working.
- A simple "hello world" program was typed in and run.
- No other tests were performed.Caution: The original power supply was not tested (as the power plug doesn't fit here). If you buy this computer, I suggest you also get yourself a modern 9V power adapter with a mono jack (the tip of the jack should be +9V, the stem should be 0/GND). Please assume that the power supply included in the box does not work as we cannot confirm that it does.If you have any questions, please contact me.PS. This item is located in the EU.
