Released in 1996, this vintage was a first step toward serious gaming graphics cards. This rare card is great for collectors and computer enthusiasts and was at the forefront of the first person computer tsunami. The card uses the S3 chipset, along with 4MB of memory size. It is compatible with many PCI slots. it has the extra 2MB add-on card RAM card. I once ran three of these side by side for tri-screen test so not only are the great for all early gaming but also for power working! This graphics/video card is perfect for use in older computer builds and retro gaming setups. One of the last video cards before fans were mandatory! S3 Chipsets almost always work with all motherboards!
Card was tested in a 1998 bit BH6 with a PII-233, two ISA slots, four PCI slots and a early AGP slot.
