The Software Labs Vintage 5.25" & 3.5" Floppy Disks Lot (As-Is/Untested)Description
Up for sale is a lot of software; all of which bear the same The Software Labs brand on their labels. These disks were kept in two separate storage cases (one for 5.25" floppies and the other for 3.5" which is also included in this lot) and sat on a shelf for the past few years (or decades, rather) simply just collecting dust on these cases. I believe this lot of programs pertained to a sound card which was sold a few years back on its own, as I couldn't manage to find these disks at the time of that listing. Furthermore, the manuals pertaining to them were also sold in a subsequent listing along with a program that I also managed to find somehow... but now I have all these programs left over and I have to let them go in as-is/untested condition without any corresponding manuals, etc. pertaining to them.
Included in this lot are two 5.25" floppy disks which are called Note By Note and Music Transcription Syst II. The other disks (or diskettes) included in this lot are four 3.5" diskettes which are Flash! Cad (on a black diskette), Corridor 7 (also on a black diskette), Body Blows (on a white diskette), and Windows Musical Studio (on a blue diskette). I believe that Corridor 7 and Body Blows are supposed to be shareware games or something along those lines, whereas the Flash! Cad and Windows Musical Studio diskettes are sound editing programs of some sort; the same applies to the other two 5.25" disks as well.
The paper sleeves for the 5.25' floppies exhibit some wear, staining, and/or yellowing on them; which came about from overall age and general storage while the diskette's labels may also exhibit some minor signs of wear on them; such as spotting and whatnot... but they are otherwise in good acceptable condition; despite the fact that they have not been tested for the purpose of this sale (since I no longer have access to a working disk drive... as that technology is basically obsolete now - or hard to find really). The red SRW MicroFlex/10 branded case for the 3.5" diskettes also exhibits some minor wear on it from storage, but can easily store up to ten 3.5" diskettes (five on either side) if need be... right now it's housing the four diskettes included in this lot, so you still have space for six more 3.5" floppies.I honestly can't recall much about using anyone of these programs back in the day, but I figure it could very well be an interesting addition to any vintage retro computing enthusiast's collection out there; hence the reason why I'm pricing it to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts, for my loss is your gain as they say in the trade.
