This computer comes from the collection of my father-in-law, who is proudly one of the original computer geeks. He has accumulated quite the collection of vintage computers, which were well cared for. Unfortunately, he is now in a nursing home and we are helping him liquidate his collection and prepare his home for sale.
The computer is in good condition internally, as you can see from the photos. There is one spot of rust on the cross beam inside the case, but this does not seem to extend anywhere else (see photos). However, we have no way of testing it any further, so please be cautioned we can not make any warrantees. There is also one foot missing from the bottom of the case, and obviously the drives have been removed.
Unfortunately, I simply don't know much about this computer but hope it will be valuable to some collector. We hate to simply trash it. Based on the research I can do, it was manufactured in 1994. I know Packard Bell was out of the personal computer game by 1996. Apparently the big selling feature of this 1150 plus model was the fact it had "multimedia capability"!
The computer has a steel case, so is a bit heavy. It will be sealed and well packaged (see photos). We hope someone can get some enjoyment out of it!
