Microfiche

Card has a microfiche embedded.

It is hard to imagine those nowadays but basically a microfiche is a piece of a flat film which contains micro-photos of the pages of some document, catalog or a newspaper, just as an example. One needed a microfiche reader to be able to enlarge and project those on some display in order to read them (which basically one can probably use a smartphone for that purpose).

Definitely a piece of vintage history for any tech collector- quite RARE.

Sold only as an item for the vintage tech collector and not for any data it may contain.

Not sure what data is punched or available on the microfiche with the card. Also, as each card is punched differently and contains different microfiche content- so actual card you will get may be punched/printed differently than the one which is depicted in the photos.

Seem to come from the Bell System. Cards is Green and has the Bell company logo on it. Bell System closure was mandated on January 8th, 1982 (so cards must be older- I\'d assume from the 70s).

[Update:Actually I was informed by a helpful er that the 2-77 on the bottom {2nd photo} indicates that the cards were printed in February 1977.]
