I acquired this about 1990 and used it until I finally joined the IBM PC world about 2000. I turned it on occasionally after that, usually to retrieve a data file to use on the PC, the last time probably about 2010. When I turned it on recently, I found that I had lost the key to the power switch (shown in the photo). I opened the case and loosened a nut to turn on the power. I inserted what I thought was a boot floppy. Lights lit, but no boot. I haven\'t investigated further. This DPS-1 contains an Ithaca IA-2000 CPU board with a Z80A, three IA-2030 64K RAM boards, CompuPro System Support 1 board (interrupt controller, math processor, clock, timers, RS232), Semidisk \"solid state disk\" board, Monitor Dynamics hard disk controller, PMMI MM-103 modem, IA-3030 6SIO serial port board, and an IA-2020floppy controller. There are also seven unused slots.System includes two 8\" floppy drives in a matching case. Also a box which originally held two Shugart ST-412 10M hard drives and their power supply. At some point, that power supply failed and was \"temporarily replaced\" with another supply visible in the photo. The second hard drive was also removed. I used the system with the Televideo 912-C \"dumb terminal\" shown in the photo. The terminal isincluded if desired (for additional shipping cost). Large collection of documentation and software.
Local pickup available in southern California at no cost, otherwise shipping available at actual cost. Please contact me with questions or for more information on available documentation and software.
