Thanks for checking out my listing. Up for your consideration is a vintage Texas Instruments Compact Computer 40, also known as a CC-40. I received this brand new in college about 40 years ago, but rarely used it because the professors didn't know how to use them for lessons. The unit itself is in excellent shape and was not stored with batteries; I put new batteries in it, and it started right up. There is a Memo Processor cartridge inserted. I don't remember how anything works, so I couldn't try it out, but I see no reason why this unit couldn't be used, as a novelty or as a nice example of vintage computing. The box isn't in bad condition as far as tears go, but is worn at one end from opening and removing the unit, and shows some moisture damage. The styrofoam inserts are in great shape, as is the instruction manual.
