Zilog - Z84C0006PEC 8-bit Microprocessor/Microcontroller - Z80
The Zilog Z-80 is an 8-bit microprocessor monolithic integrated circuit introduced in 1975.
It implements an upwardly-compatible extension to the Intel 8080 instruction set, The z80 requires only a +5V supply. It adds several registers, a vectored interrupt system, and a hardware DRAM refresh counter to the 8080 architecture.
There were several speed grades, initially starting at 2.5MHz (non-suffix) / 4MHz (Z80A) / 6MHz (Z80B), etc., later CMOS versions up to 20MHz, and derivatives up to about 50MHz.You will receive the following part number .Z84C0006PEC. Due to poor packaging from my source there may be an occasional deformity on a leg. Anything sold will at least fit cleanly into the ZIF socket. I am (almost) blind as well so occasionally I make blind mistakes. Please be patient with me.
These are all new. The image is not of the actual product. They ARE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED in an ANTI-STATIC tube. Recently I had trouble with someone who claimed these were used because the legs had markings on them. I promise you the only use of these chips will be in the Z80 CPU TESTER (see second image above.)
I know the source of every CPU I sell and I stand behind what I sell. If you are not satisfied, please start a return and you will be fully refunded when I get the parts back. I am highly confident THERE WILL NOT BE ANY DOA CPU. Let me also say Thank you so much for your business! Leonard
