A Superb Georgian Silver Teapot London 1810 by Alice & George Burrows
A superb Georgian silver teapot ofbulbousform with two bands to the body and a floral bands to the top and base. The lid is raised with a silver spacer and rectangular finial.Silver handle with spacers. The spout has a shell applied to the end. All standing on four claw feet.Please see pictures.
Hallmarked for London 1810 by Alice & George Burrows, the lid is marked with the lion passant and the date letter.
This teapot is in superb condition.
The hinge is in excellent condition with no lateral movement.The spacers show cracks as to be expected with age and there are a couple of very minor bruises. No splits.
The hallmarks clearly struck.
