For sale is an antique Ansonia mantle clock model “Triumph”. Sometimes called a “mirror side” this clock can be found in Tran Duy Ly’s book “Ansonia Clocks and Watches”, page 444 and 447. Overall the clock is in excellent condition and runs as intended striking a bell on the hour and half hour. Some loss of silvering to the mirrors and the cupids do to aging and they appear to be original. Dimensions are 24 ½” tall 17” wide and 6” deep with a 6” Dial. The case looks like black walnut. Included is a later shelf or wall bracket with flame veneer, moldings and finials. It must have been made to fit this clock. Bracket dimensions: 12” tall, 17” wide and 6” deep.
