Up for sale is this beyond rare 1870\'s leather doll with a bisque style head. The dolls blue eyes open when straightened upright. 18 inches long. Missing hair in spots. Unknown to me where she was made. Has a hole in her belly where a metal wire is sticking out. Above that a girl wrote in ink 1877, most likely the year she received it. Comes with her shoes, socks, pants, and two skirts. Her shirt is cut in half. One of the shoes has a big tear on the back. Fully dressed when I found her. She was wrapped up in a vintage doll dress, top and bottom. They are from an even larger doll. All part of one great sale.
