Offered here is avery unusual1920's crystal radio designed as a book, and includes the original shipping box. Radio is designed to look like a hardcover book titled "THE LISTENER" BY E. R. FONE. The radio was manufactured and sold by KENMAC RADIO, LONDON.

Radio is in mint original condition and complete. The box is complete including the labeled top. This is a rare radio to find in this condition. The electronics are all complete including"cat's whisker" and galena mineral. Has all the original wireconnection posts. The radio is very well made, solid.

There is norust,corrosion, or damage. The radio is untested but complete and no obvious reason it shouldn't work. Will requirehigh impedance headphone (available on ) and antenna and ground wires. The photos are part of the description so please see the manyphotos I provided.
