Yet another fabulous find that arrived from France this past week. A gorgeous floral wreath cotton lisere brocade from the 19thc. Beautiful beautiful find! This again is a cotton done in lovely shades of primarily pink, green, a camel and dessert type rose with a hint of yellow. It is dense but not too terribly thick so has a good pliable body to work with. Excellent for pillows/pillow rolls, lamp shades, small upholstery, doll and bear dressing, clutches/handbags if lined and also clothing.Condition is good and strong~probably lightly utilized in it\'s former life. Overall it is a clean piece; has a bit of an aged patina simply because it\'s very old. May have a tiny age spot of tiny fiber break pull simply from having been handled but overall, honestly a fabulous early piece of early French cotton brocade.Measures 24 in wide by a 1/2 yd. I have 8 to offer and can keep as many as a quantity of 4 in one length at the time of this listing (I am working with 2 panels).Many thanks!
