This sale is for an authentic Art Deco era, natural \"A\" jadeite jade bead necklace.The beads are not treated or enhanced.
The jadeite beads are mottled with bright emerald, mint and apple green colors. They have a high translucence and smooth texture. Cold to the touch. They are strung with a series of faceted rock crystal beads. The jadeite has naturally occurring color variations and fissures.
The necklace is 17.5 inches long. The beads are graduated, with the largest central bead at 9mm and the smaller beads at 5mm. They have recently been re-strung and are individually hand-knotted with silk cord.
The clasp is original to the necklace and is an Art Deco 14K white gold filigree (marked).
Weight of the necklace is 29.77 grams.
