For sale is an exceptional10 inch tall wooden artist model or mannequin from the late nineteenth Century.9 inches tall,3 inches wide at the hips. The model is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees; movement is two dimensions only. There is a deep wooden patina which is worn a bit thin on the tip of the nose exposing a lighter color wood underneath. Very nice facial features, large bust, and curvaceous hipsareappealing features. There is a tiny chip from the tip of the right hand minimally affecting the overall appearance. This model was deaccessioned from the Strong Museum of Play of Rochester, NY ( see museum number on the back) and purchased at sale about 15 years ago. It hasenjoyed a prominent placein our personal collection, and it is time to sell to another appreciative collector. Will wrap very well and mail Priority. Thanks for offerding.
