Description:We have recently been fortunate enough to have acquired some terrific antique fishing gear. For offerding is a beautiful unmarked bamboo rod. It measures 6 feet in total length when assembled and offers three sections each 40.5\" long. The twointerchangeableend sections have bell guidesand tube ferrules scribed with bands. The handle has two hand grips both above and below thereel seat and wrapped with a blondcord. There is light wear noted and shown the uppermost portion of the cording on the lower handle is loose but not disconnected.The rod comes in a canvas pouch with faded green coloring that ties closed and offers a button marked \"Nathan\'s\", no other markings are present on the rod or pouch. The guides resemble those used by Thos. Chubb however the handle is an exact match to a design by both Hiram Leonard of Bangor, Maine and Edward vom Hofe. A fresh estate find!
