Extremely rare and unique item, I have been buying and selling on for quite some time and have never seen a candy container like this one, also did some research and could not find any information on any similar. White rabbit fur Hen with egg laying mechanism that is in working condition, When you lift fur on Hens chest there is a hole where you can feed the eggs. I used white jelly beans and will send with the item. I only put two or three (did not want to overload) when you gently push down on Hen a lever on the inside opens up and the egg falls into the dish behind Hen. There is a non working squeaker under the feed hole, so apparently she use to squeak when the egg was laid. In good condition for age, white rabbit fur is a little dingy and there is a real feather to form the tail. Glass eyes and red felt combs that have faded, chicken claws and beak are plastic or silicone not positive which. Stands on a wooden base that measures approx. 5 1/2 X 2 inches. Hen is approx. 8 inches tall, dollar bill in photo is to depict size and is not part of sale.
