This is manufactured by the Flemming Battery Company, Philia. It is in a wood box whichis 9\" long, 4-5/8\" wide and 7\" high. The long bar with the ball on the end moves up and down. There is a provision for a key on the front, but that is missing. There are 2 levers that can be placed in 4 different positions and two levers with two positions.
What you see is what you get. I don\'t know what it was supposed to do, but I can guess. There is a battery operated coil on one end and as the lever with the ball bounces up and down the electrical connection is broken. I imagine that this causes an intermittent shock of varying levels.
