The red and gold scale is missing the pan holder and also missing the end piece that fits on the small shaft used to turn the barrel, has been repainted, and the brass needs cleaning. The Black scale is missing one of the balance arm caps and screw, missing rubber bumpers on pan holder, scale has been repainted at some point and the barrel cleaned. Recast and original pan holders are available from restorers. A cast of the arm piece can be manufactured.
