Antique Seth thomas #2 Wall Regulator

This is theSeth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., \"Regulator No. 2\" wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in an oak case with painted metal dial. This clock dates from c1885. The case retains what appears to be its original finish, Ht 37,\" itis in as found condition. It has been hanging on my wall for almost two months now and has been keeping great time.
In my opinion it is in very good condition, with only one issue that I could see. Inside the case in the lower right corner, the wood looks as though it has been subject to mildew. I\'m sure it will clean up nicely, and other than that, I believe the clock to be in original condition. The dial shows some minor chipping around the edges and the screw holes. The key is old,but may not be original to this clock
It is running and keeps good time, but should to be cleaned. Take a look at the pictures and see for your self. This is a gorgeous clock that will be a great addition to any collection.
The clock measures 37\" high.
All clocks from this estate are tested to determine if they run and keeptime. However antique clocks often need adjustment after shipping. I suggestthe buyer take the clock to a reputable repair shop to be checked outthoroughly once it is received.
