An early, salesman sample size Toy Stove or Range, Piqua, Ohio, 1910\'s. This is the highly sought-after \"Favorite\" model with Cast Iron and Nickel Plated construction. This top Quality toy range appears in the 1911 catalog of The Favorite Stove and Range Co, Piqua Ohio. This is the most complete little range ever built. It has good fire box and flues, and will boil and bake the same as a large range. Deep, clean, draw-out ash pan. Drop front door register. Fingers or teeth to the front fire box. Dumping Anti-Clinker grates. Six cooking holes. Good little encased reservoir, that will heat water with lid. Oven rack. Flue cleaner door. There is a damper that is operated with a handle projecting through the top to make the range direct draft, or to send the fire around the flues and bottom of the oven, with directions on the top, which read: \" Pull handle up to bake\". The style of the carving and ornamentation is modern and beautiful, and the workmanship throughout the entire range is of the favorite quality. Cast on the side \"The Favorite Stove & Range Company PIQUA OHIO\" .Condition: General wear, including scuffs, scratches, oxidation, as shown.
