Nice antique brass CHELSEA U.S. NAVY BOAT CLOCK, #2810. The black dial is marked CHELSEA CLOCK CO. / BOSTON, U.S.A. / U.S. NAVY BOAT CLOCK / 2810.
The back of the turned brass back cover is stamped CHELSEA CLOCK CO. / 56366.
The clock come with the brass key, stamped '3'.
I haven't removed the back to see the mechanism as I wasn't sure how to do it.
The diameter of the front brass bezel is 4 5/8". The height is 2" tall. The back of the case is 4 3/4" in diameter.
The clock has been keeping correct time since I wound it with the key several days ago.
From what I can see, this antique clock is in very good condition. There is a faint scratch to the right of 9 o'clock, under Chelsea Clock Co. There is normal aging to the brass but no damage.
