This small, ornate, early French, silk and paper candy container is in very good, antique condition! Specifics are:
Description:

• wooden box covered with paper
• paper is a metallic sage green with pale pink scrolls
• wonderful ormolu (metal) trim on he top, latch, and feet
• ruched silk trim on the top of the lid
• embossed ivory paper lining with paper lace trim
• wonderful and rare display item for dolls, bears, or all-bisque doll trunk

Measurements:

• 6\" long
• 4\" wide
• 3\" high to the top

Condition:

• Very good, antique condition with light signs of age: slight seam separation of two back corners, fraying to fragile silk, darkening to interior paper and paper lace is damaged, and the golden metal ormolu has some tarnish/patina - all commensurate with age. The lid closes tightly and latch works well.
