Item details: An Excellent Quality Victorian solidsilver Teapot made in London 1849 by the highly collectable R & S Garrard& Co. Garrard wasthe Crown Jeweller of the UK, charged with the upkeep of the British CrownJewels, from 1843 to 2007. The teapot is made from a quality thick gauge ofsilver and has a heavy weight and quality feel. The teapot has a fantasticmelon shape with beautifully floral engraved decoration all over. The lid thehandle and the base have matching appropriate hallmarks. The item is watertight. Overall a quality practical Victorian teapot.
