Very cute antique Chiltern character teddy bear dating from 1930s,

made of golden mohair,

hard stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,

fully jointed,

has got original clear and black glass eyes with brown painted backs with some colour flacking and dark stain under the right eye,

black vertically stitched nose with outer stitches pointing up,

inverted Y shape mouth stitching,

original cotton pads in good condition with slight surface wear, repair patches to paw pads, few holes to foot pads, but nothing too bad - stuffing is not comming out,

three claws stitching to each limb.

Has got working growler in his tummy.

Approx. 20\" tall.

Condition - original vintage condition with general wear, thinning and balding patches (mainly to arms),

repairs to pads, couple darning repairs to arms, couple seam repairs, joints a bit loose, but still holding a pose.
