This sale is for the old Rex typewriter as seen in the photos. The spacebar function does not advance on its own but works when slight pressure is applied to the side of the paper roller assembly. I am guessing it is due to the separated flat rope / ribbon that is not connected to anything on the underside of the typewriter ( please see photos 9 and 10).The other functions and keys appear to work as they should.
