Description
This sale listing is foran early ca 1900 Weller Art Pottery Eocean fish JARDINIERE.It has an ovoid body slip decorated in blue and white with three swimming fish. The inside and base have a yellow glaze. There is an upper case L at the base. This piece is normally quite colorful with a graduatedlustrousgreen background that highlights the fish very well. Due to the color and partial mark , I\'m not sure if this was aproduction piece or experimental . After a longsearchon the net , I couldn\'t find another example in this color.Size - 6 1/2\" Tall by about 8 \" in diameter
Condition - very tight 2\" hairline from rim & age crazingthroughout
