ANTONIO PINEDA STERLING SILVER FISH SKELETON BROOCH PIN 13.2 GRAMS
Price: US $167.50

A wonderful pin or brooch by Antonio Pineda, signed with his crown mark as well as with the mark ofFortino Mota, one of the master silversmiths who worked for Pineda in the 1950s and 1960s (Hougart, The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks, p. 123). This is in original as-found condition, and no damage is noted. It\'s a wonderful creature: the skeleton is articulated, so the little guy swings freely. OK, a dead fish swinging on your sweater may not appeal to everyone, but hey, it\'s a PINEDA dead fish, and that makes all the difference. Anyway, he looks alive - look at his perky little eye.

OK, so I\'ve had my fun....but truly, it\'s a charming piece.

As always, I accept returns for any reason, so you can offer with confidence. HOWEVER: an item is returnable ONLY if it has not been altered in any way. This means you must not clean, polish, adjust, or do anything else to your new acquisition until you\'re 100% sure you\'re going to keep it. Thanks!

Whoops - I forgot to include dimensions. The fish would fit in a rectangle 1 1/8\" wide, and just shy of 2 3/4\" long.
