Art Deco Machine Age Chrome Telechron Electric Wall Clock 2H09 Propeller
Price: US $264.99
Art Deco styled Telechron (General Electric) electric wall clock, model 2H09, officially called the \'Stewardess\'- and produced between 1939-42. I imagine the name was chosen in reference to airplane travel (a luxury at the time), and theaerodynamic design of a movingpropeller. The clock case is chrome plated metal with a glass dial cover. Other versions of this clock were produced with the inner bezel painted with green, black, or red lacquer. Cosmetically in very good shape- some fading on the clock face (mostly the red dots), but the glass cover is free of scratches. The chrome is in great shape for it\'s age- just some minor pitting and small scratching here and there, but still bright and shiny. The clock runs great and is dead silent- just what you want. The cord appears to be original and I don\'t see any issues with that. Size: 7 5/8\" x 7 5/8\" x 2 5/16\".
