Rare authentic civil war Confederate Texas waist belt plate in non dug original condition with beautiful traces of gold gilt and a nice patina, intact solid tongue, plate displays well in any collection and is rather scarce, measures 51mm x 81mm and is listed in Sydney Kirksis belt plate book as plate 411 there is a similar plate listed in the Steve Mullinax belt plate book as plate 295 but there are some slight variances, you wont find a better deal if you can find one at all.
