- If you have not worked with high voltage AC electronics, DEATH by electrocution is highly possibly when calibrating after installation (do not leave the unit plugged in when installing)What we recommend:
- We recommend you start with a known working B&K 747
- We recommend SAFE working conditions
- We recommend a good soldering iron / station with quality solder
- We recommend all contacts and wire wound trimmers be cleaned with Deoxit D5 prior to installation
- We recommend you have adequate knowledge of electronic restoration prior to installing this kit!We are not responsible for:
- Cooking or killing yourself during calibration because you really do not know what you are doing. We have plenty of warnings - experienced techs only!
- Frying your tube tester. This PCB works flawlessly and has been proven as an excellent replacement. You goof it up - it is on you
- You are retrofitting new parts into an antique piece of equipment. Old things have a habit of crapping out such as transformers and meters. In short, there is no warranty on our parts kit.
