Recent estate find. Measures approximately 6-1/4” long. The item is unmarked, but I think it was made by Barclay – you all know better than I do.

There are five pieces – horse, harness bar, sleigh and two riders.

The harness bar is original. There is a distracting amount of red residue on the horse and the bar that is also original from where there used to be a tape like material that held the bar to the horse. This red residue basically looks like ugly red paint.

The bar can rest on the horse as pictured and displays well, but it doesn’t take much for it to come off.

The sleigh has paint loss and crudeness along the back top edge. The horse has small spots of loss to its center section. The female rider has paint loss to her nose, her foot, the edges and here and there. The male rider has evident loss to his hat edge and also more here and there. There’s additional related wear to all the items.

This figure is crude in the making.
