BENJAMIN FRANKLIN Printed Colonial Currency Note, Delaware. June 1, 1759. 15s
Benjamin Franklin Printed June 1, 1759 Delaware 15s Note
Delaware. June 1, 1759. Fifteen Shillings. Printed by “BENJAMIN FRANKLIN” Issue. “HORSE” vignette. Conservation and repairs. Very Good to Fine.
Fr. DE-67. Delaware notes that are printed by BENJAMIN FRANKLIN are typically scarcer than those issues printed for Pennsylvania. This note is well worn and has a sealed centerfold with some conservation. The “1759” date is clear as well as “Printed by B. Franklin” with a wonderful floral and bottom central “Horse” vignette on its reverse. Also, the central “Nature Print” leaf design is very clear.
