Besson Bb cornet made in England with heavy silver plate, near 100% and a patch on the lead pipe that I just noticed after all these years. Few scratches and dings, but no dents all slides pull, but the third valve slide will not come out completely because of the bell, but the bell does not look dented so I am not sure if it is suppose to completely come out. Nice valves with triple metal guides. Lead pipe looks to be fixed in place. Bell reads, \"Class A 50 Medals of Honour Besson & CO. \'Prototype\' LONDON, ENGLAND British Throughout.\" Nice playing cornet, but a little stuffy sounding. No mouthpiece, comes with a floppy case.
