Bleuette Jumeau 9 Bellette 1907 11.5” Bravot Blond HH --Green Hand PPW Eyes ARTIST: Leslie Perkumas

This beautiful Bleuette Jumeau 9 Bellette 1907 is handmade and hand painted by award winning doll artisan, Leslie Perkumas**. Bleuette has a long light blond Bravot human hair wig. She has incredible Forest Green Hand PPW glass eyes. “The soft magic in her eyes says she must whisper with the garden and wood fairies during the early morning hours” (Leslie said this)! She has multi-stroke brows, painted upper and lower lashes, an open mouth and 4 hand-carved porcelain teeth. She is on the slightly taller wooden JN Bleuette 11 piece jointed wood 23cm body. She wears white batiste bloomers. She has never been displayed, but carefully and safely stored. She is new and totally MINT! And has Leslie’s signed hangtag.

Leslie hasn’t been making Bleuettes for several years. Owning one of her marvelous dolls is RARE. Just in time for from Leslie:

She is, of course, entirely handmade by me. I cast the molds, fire the bisque and paint each doll individually with great care. To bring up the coloring, each head is fired ten to fifteen times as I work slowly and meticulously. Each wig and eye color combination is chosen specifically for the doll\'s facial colors and character. I want every single doll that goes out into the world to be of the highest possible quality so that their owners find joy in them for years to come. And so, I sign and date each doll to affirm the love that went into her creation and inherent sweetness. I am the artist and I approve this message. :o)
