This sale is for a USED HO Scale Broadway Limited Union Pacific MT-73 4-8-2 Model Train Locomotive!

This item appears to be used. The locomotive was tested and appeared to function properly. The locomotive was tested on a Bachmann HO Scale track with a MRC Tech 4 Controller. Only the basic functions (forward, reverse, and lights) were tested, so there may be some unknown problems. There was no other major damage noted, but there may be some minor damage including, but not limited to bent rails, scuffs in the paint, missing and/or broken detail pieces. When the passenger trains became faster and longer, and the Pacifics were having difficulties maintaining the schedules, the UP decided on the 4-8-2 Mountain type to take up the load. They were built with high drivers and plenty of power and served the UP well until 1956. BLIs model will be patterned after the rebuilt version with a disc main driver, Walschaerts valve gear and Sweeney stack, and will use a 12,000 gallon Semi-Vanderbilt tender. We will also offer our Mountains in their black attire as well as in the two-tone gray and white passenger scheme.
