This outstanding, turn of the 20th century Pima Olla Basket measures approx. 16 1/2\" tall and 15\" in diameter at the shoulder of the body.

This beautiful and highly impressive, Pima Olla Basket is tightly hand woven and decorated with natural dark dye that creates 10 vertical bands of decoration consisting of alternating bands of diamonds and steps.

This very rare and very beautiful, ca1900 Pima Wicker Olla / Storage Basket is in very good condition. The weave is tight and the Olla displays beautifully. While the warp is sound and without damage, there is some relatively minor loss to the weft along two rows at the shoulder of the Olla as well as at the outer rim of the base. There is no damage, wear or loss to the rim of this stunningly beautiful, large size Olla and overall it is very well preserved and displays beautifully. All elements of the Basket are original and there has been no repairs or restorations - it is 100% original and 100% beautiful.
