Rare and original, ca1900 Reverse on Glass, Cigar Store Advertising Countertop Change Receiver. This original, Cigar Advertising piece measures approx. 7 1/2” by 6” at the base and the rear wall of the concave top surface measures approx. 2\" tall. The reverse-on-glass Change Receiver features advertising for “Admiration\" Cigars manufactured by E. Regensburg & Sons of New York City. The Change Receiver is signed by the manufacturer - the Brunhoff Manufacturing Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Change receiver is made of a thick glass and is higher at the back than at the front with a convex depression into which the customer\'s change would be deposited and easily retrieved. It features an image of a beautiful young woman looking into a mirror and with a mirror behind her. The Image is likely similar to the cigar label for \"Admiration\" Cigars.

This very rare and attractive, ca1900 Countertop Advertising Change Receiver is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or damage of any kind to the glass receiver itself. The Change receiver retains its original felt bottom with the stamped, manufacturer\'s mark. The reverse-on-glass advertising displays nicely and has no restoration, repainting or repairs of any kind but does have some flaking and loss to the solid white reverse on glass surface as can be seen in the scans below.
