This \"\" sale is for a Case Tested XX (1920-40) \"Hobo\" pattern with \"take-a-part\" regular (low) pull sabre knife blade,a forkblade, jigged Greenbone handles, and a \"bomb\" shield, pattern #6251. This knife has been professionally \"cleaned.\" As one would expect, both blades are bright and shiney. However, there remains pitting remnants on both, with the pull side of the knife blade being the worst offender. The knife blade appears full,with no discernable use, or sharpening. Blade \"snap\" is very good for both. I see one hairline crack to the backspringat the center pin on the knife handle. Otherwise, no cracks, chips, or shrinkage ineither of the handles. The back spring is clean and bright, with just a few carbon specks. The fork backspring may have some extremely tiny pitting remnants, but you need a powerful magnifying glass, and even then it is hard to tell for sure. This knife is 5 1/4\" long closed, 9 9/16\" long with the knife bladefully extended, and approximately 9 7/16\" long with the fork blade fully extended.
