This is a lovely set of four Victorian silver salts, complete with spoons and in their original presentation case.The salts are shaped as half scallop shells, each resting on three dolphin feet in the British Royal Navy form.The spoons havescallop shellsbowls, twisted handles and a ball finial.Each piece is fully hallmarked for silver, Birmingham, 1898 and has a maker’s stamp of M.BThe set comes in a fitted presentation case of leatherette with blue velvet and silk lining.one spoon holder missinf see pictures~ Dimensions ~The salts measure approximately 4.9cm in diameter with a height of 2cm.
The spoons measure 5.5cm long.
The cased set measures 17cm by 16.5cm by 3.5cm and weighs 150g.(empty) full194g.Total Silver Weights = 44g.
